WEEKDAY SERVICES

  • Monday 5pm shared silence then Vespers at 5pm

  • Thursday 7am shared silence, 7.30am Morning Liturgy

St Mary’s Church is open every day for prayer, reflection, quiet and rest from approx. 9.00am to 6pm (4pm in the winter months). The side chapels are set aside for prayer and contemplation.​

Project News

Uplift.jpg

The Uplift project to transform the nave of St Mary's Totnes, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and numerous national and local funders, is moving into its second stage.  Having completed the main capital works, the building has now reopened to the public, with its completely re-ordered nave and state of the art heating system.  In the second stage, during 2026, we will be developing the visitor experience, with a new children’s area and heritage interpretation scheme and enabling further community use of the building.
